COVID-19 Testing in Yellowknife and Inuvik for the Weekend of October 16-18

For the weekend of October 16 through 18 the following options are available for testing in Inuvik and Yellowknife:

Yellowknife:

 

COVID Clinic:

Who is this for: people experiencing mild-to-moderate symptoms who need to see a physician,

How to access: call to 767-9120 to book an in-clinic appointment for testing. Open 12-4 Saturday

COVID Drive-Thru: 

Who is this for: people who have mild symptoms but do not feel they need to be assesed by a physician OR who have been advised to seek testing by Public Health.

How to access: Open 12-4, Saturday and Sunday. No appointments needed, located behind YK Primary Care (parking lot off 47th street). You do not need a car to access this service.

Inuvik:

COVID Clinic:

Call (867) 777-7246 or the on call cell at (867) 490-2225. Appointments available from 1pm to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, this will be extended if demand warrants.

Call your health centre or the following numbers for information on testing options:

  • Fort Smith: 867-872-6219 or 867-872-6221
  • Hay River: 867-874-8400: Call Public Health at (867) 874-8400 between 08:30 to 16:30. After hours, please contact our Emergency Department at (867) 874-8050
  • Other Communities can call their local health centres, www.hss.gov.nt.ca/health-centres
