Re-Opening of Lab & Diagnostic Imaging Services at Yellowknife Primary Care Clinic

Yellowknife (January 10th, 2021) – As the NTHSSA continues the response to COVID-19, services are being re-opened to the public. Yellowknife Primary Care Clinic (YPCC) will be reopening its Lab Services on January 10th and Diagnostic Imaging Services on January 12th, 2022.

Laboratory Services:
The new clinic hours for Laboratory Services will be as follows:

Mon-Fri, 09:00-16:00 (except statutory Holidays) & Closed for lunch 11:45-12:30.

Diagnostic Imaging Services:
The new clinic hours for Diagnostic Imaging Services will be as follows:

Wed-Thu-Fri, 08:00-15:45 (except statutory Holidays) & Closed for lunch 11:45-12:30. Bone Density – Appointment only from 08:00-11:30.

IMPORTANT - Services Not Offered:

  • Laboratory Services NOT offered:
    • Clients under the age of 12 (this requires two laboratory staff)
      • Clients under the age of 12 will need to go to the Stanton Territorial Hospital Laboratory Collection Centre
    • Any person without NWT Health Care (this requires registration at the hospital and forms to be signed)
    • Some time sensitive tests which can only be collected at the hospital.
  • Diagnostic Imaging Services NOT offered:
    • Scoliosis Series
    • Long-legs
    • Immigration Chest X-Ray
    • Any person without NWT Health Care (this requires registration at the hospital and forms to be signed)
