(April 28, 2022, Yellowknife) – Novavax’s Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in the NWT and is now available to residents. The vaccine is approved for people who are 18 years of age and older.

Yellowknife (April 19, 2022) – The COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Yellowknife is not accepting walk-in appointments for today, April 19th. Regularly scheduled vaccination appointments will continue to be available.
From April 17th to April 24, the Fort Smith Health Centre will be operating with a reduced number of physicians.
(Yellowknife, April 14, 2022) – Labour and Delivery services at Stanton Territorial Hospital has returned to full capacity. This includes services provided to Nunavut residents from the Kitikmeot region, the final phase of service resumption after reduced services.
For Easter Long weekend, hours of operation for health and social services will be changing. Many locations will be closed on both Friday April 15th and Monday April 18th.
