YELLOWKNIFE (October 17, 2025) – The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) would like to remind Yellowknife residents of the various flu vaccination clinics taking place across the city starting next week, being hosted by Yellowknife Public Health. COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available at all clinics upon request.
Seniors Clinic – Open to Public (Baker Community Centre)
A clinic will be held at the Baker Community Centre on Friday, October 24 between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This clinic is intended for seniors only (65 ages and up), with walk-ins available. Please note that if you are bringing a senior to their appointment and wish to receive yours at the same time, you will not be turned away.
Family Friendly Clinic (Multiplex, DND Gym)
In partnership with the Yellowknife Playgroup Association, a clinic will be held at the Multiplex in the DND Gymnasium on Saturday, October 25 between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This clinic is open to families who have at least one child aged five and under. The Yellowknife Playgroup Association will provide toys, activities, snacks, and refreshments for children during this time.
Pop-up Clinic (Yellowknife Co-op)
A pop-up clinic at the Yellowknife Co-op on Sunday, October 26 between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Residents who visit Co-op during this time and who are unable to attend another clinic can receive their flu vaccination at this clinic.
Community Walk-in Clinics (Centre Square Mall, Lower Level)
Community walk-in clinics will be available on the lower level of Centre Square Mall during the following times:
- October 28-30: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- October 31: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- November 1: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- November 4-7: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- November 8: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
These clinics are open to anyone looking to get vaccinated.

- Anyone unable to attend a clinic that would still like to receive their vaccination can do so by calling Yellowknife Public Health at (867) 767-9120 and booking an appointment after November 11, 2025.

- In addition to flu shots, COVID-19 immunizations will also be available upon request.
