Public Notice
YELLOWKNIFE (November 7, 2025) – Additional supply of COVID-19 vaccines has arrived in the Northwest Territories (NWT), meaning anyone can request and receive a COVID-19 vaccine at seasonal flu clinics throughout the NWT.
In Yellowknife, this means that anyone – regardless of risk level - can request a COVID-19 vaccine at the clinic located at Centre Square Mall. The clinic will remain operational until Saturday, November 8, 2025.
In addition to these clinic opportunities, drop-in clinics are being offered at Yellowknife Public Health located at 4702 Franklin Avenue during the following times:
- Wednesday, November 12, 2025: 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 19, 2025: 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 3, 2025: 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 10, 2025: 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 17, 2025: 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
For all other communities across the NWT, the public is reminded to check the NTHSSA’s Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinic page regularly to see when flu clinics are available in your community. Both flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available in all communities.
Individuals who are not able to attend a scheduled community clinic are encouraged to contact their local health centre or public health clinic to book an appointment or determine when walk-in opportunities are available.
The strong uptake for flu and COVID-19 vaccines so far this season demonstrates that more people are choosing to protect themselves and their communities from respiratory illnesses.
Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available annually throughout the fall, winter, and early spring when respiratory virus season is most active. For general information and recommendations for vaccinations, visit www.hss.gov.nt.ca/en/services/immunization-vaccination or contact your local public health clinic or health centre.
