NTHSSA Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program Among Top Grades on National Report Card

The Northwest Territories was recently recognized with a sufficient grade for infant hearing programs and services in a national report card issued by the Canadian Infant Hearing Task Force. Some highlights of this report card include the NWT being among the highest screening rates in the country at 99% coverage for infant hearing screening. This screening rate is part of a comprehensive earliy hearing detection and intervention program delivered through the Stanton Territorial Hospital Audiology Department.
