Health Services in Yellowknife
Healthcare providers in Yellowknife are available to assist with health needs of Wekweètì evacuees. This includes regular appointments prescription refills, etc.
- Call 867-767-9294 or 867-767-9125 for a phone consultation. Identify yourself as an evacuee so we can direct your calls appropriately.
- We expect high call volumes for this service, so we ask all residents to have patience when calling.
- Call (867) 669-4100 for the Stanton Emergency Department.

City of Yellowknife Services
The City of Yellowknife is contributing to the support of Wekweètì evacuees who are in Yellowknife with passes to recreation complexes. This includes the Ruth Inch Memorial Pool & Fieldhouse (indoor playground, walking track, climbing wall).
Any Wekweètì evacuees who would like free access can pick up a wristband from the City of Yellowknife Customer Service counter at City Hall, and verbally confirm that they are an evacuee from Wekweeti.
