General Services:
Stanton Territorial Hospital is currently evaluating the impact of the recent COVID-19 outbreak and response times for general inquiries may be impacted.
We encourage patients who are currently on self-isolation to connect with their provider before arriving for a booked appointment where possible. Clinicians will actively triage upcoming appointments to determine which appointments can be deferred until after the isolation period and which must proceed.
In an effort to protect patients, families and staff we may need to postpone appointments and procedures. Stanton staff will be working to contact any individuals impacted if service levels are adjusted.
Outpatient Lab Collections
Outpatient collection services will be closed to the general public from 08:00 to 20:00 Monday 03 May, 2021 to allow for redeployment of staff to meet demand for COVID-19 testing.
If you have a pre-scheduled lab collection for this date or if you have a general referral you should not present at the lab. There are two exceptions and individuals fitting the following criteria should show up to the lab:
- if you are scheduled for a surgical procedure this week and were advised to have lab work on May 3, you should still come to the lab
- if your provider contacts you and tells you your specific testing is required despite the closure. There is an internal process for requesting and referring testing for this closure and your provider will advise you directly if you fit this criteria.
Regular services will resume on Tuesday, 04 May, 2021 at 8 AM.
