(Yellowknife – April 20, 2023) The Yellowknife COVID-19 Immunization Response Team Clinic at the Centre Square Mall will close permanently on April 29, 2023. Services offered at this clinic including COVID-19 and monkey pox vaccines will be available through Yellowknife Public Health.
For access to COVID-19 vaccines individuals will be able to book an appointment online until the end of June. In July bookings will shift back to the same process as other vaccine requests and will be accessed through regular public health appointments.
After April 29th individuals seeking monkey pox vaccines are asked to book an appointment with public health by calling 867-767-9120.
Increased access to vaccines through mass-clinic opportunities in preparation for respiratory virus seasons will be announced in fall, 2023, and will align with guidance from the National Advisory Council on Immunization and Health Canada.
The COVID-19 immunization clinic was opened as part of the response to COVID-19 and has immunized thousands of individuals and provided service to residents throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This clinic has served the needs of residents seeking vaccines for COVID-19, influenza, and monkey pox.
NTHSSA leadership would like to thank all of the staff who supported this service and the broader immunization efforts throughout the pandemic for their dedication and commitment to this important work.
APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE
Starting May 1, 2023 appointments for COVID-19 Vaccine will be available at Yellowknife Public Health Office at the Jan Stirling Building at 4702 Franklin Avenue (https://goo.gl/maps/qf46zu5WKAgvqkgE8) .

Booked appointments available every Tuesday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Book online.
Walk-in appointments - pending capacity - available every Tuesday and Friday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm
Public Health will be closed on statutory holidays.
