Staff Spotlight: Community Health Worker, Carla Norwegian

The NTHSSA is pleased to spotlight Carla Norwegian, a Community Health Worker in Jean Marie River.

Carla has been the CHW in Jean Marie River for 13 years. During this time, she has steadily built a reputation of dedication, professionalism, and passion for community health.

Working out of the Community Health Centre, Carla is focused on ensuring the well-being of those she serves by delivering essential health services to her community. She also supports the Nurse on Call at the Fort Simpson Health Centre, who provides services to the community when Carla is not on duty.

Carla’s unwavering commitment, willingness to go above and beyond, and continued responsiveness show her deep sense of duty towards those to whom she provides care. She is deeply valued, and her contributions have had a lasting positive impact on the health and well-being of those in her care.
