YELLOWKNIFE (October 7, 2026) – The Northwest Territories Health and Social Authority (NTHSSA) would like to inform residents that Yellowknife Public Health is relocating to a new location. During this period, services at Yellowknife Public Health in the Jan Stirling building will be temporarily disrupted.

This temporary disruption in service will occur on Friday, October 9th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During this time, in-person services normally available through the Jan Stirling building will be unavailable. If you require assistance during this time, please phone (867) 767-9120.

New Location

As part of NTHSSA's ongoing efforts to consolidate more health services in one convenient location, starting Tuesday, October 13th, residents can access Yellowknife Public Health services at the YK Centre East Building - the same downtown location many residents already know for primary care and laboratory services.

Pod B of the YK Centre East Building on the main floor will house Yellowknife Public Health and Laboratory Services, while Pod A will continue to provide primary care services. Bringing these services together is an important step toward creating a more centralized health centre where residents can access a range of health services in one familiar, convenient location.
