Blog Post

Meghan is a born and raised Yellowknifer. After completing her undergraduate degree in British Columbia, Meghan moved back to the north with her wife, 3 cats and dog. Meghan has worked for the NTHSSA for a little under 8 years and currently holds the role of Territorial Lead for Suicide and Crisis Response.

Meghan has held various positions on the Mental Health and Community Wellness Team where she has continued to grow her love for all things mental health, eventually leading her to pursue a master’s degree in counselling psychology. Meghan loves to take on the challenge of finding glimmers in tough situations, whether that be a lesson learned, a new skill, something to laugh about, meeting someone new or finding an opportunity.

Meghan’s favourite coping skill is any form of crafting, specifically beading something special for those around her.
