Pfizer (12-17 year olds): Currently all spaces for clinics on today, Saturday and Monday are taken. If anyone cancels an appointment they will be come available in the online booking. We will announce more bookings sometime before noon on Tuesday of next week. We intend to open another round of general bookings for those not on isolation and a set of bookings for those currently isolating. If you wish to access vaccine during isolation you need to apply for an exemption through the office of the Chief Public Health Officer. To do this email them at cpho@gov.nt.ca.
We will communicate process for next clinics in advance of opening bookings, so keep an eye here and on our website.
Moderna (18+): We still have appointments available on Thursday and Friday next week. Note, we have note opened clinic dates beyond May 14th. Future dates past the 14th will be opened early next week for anyone seeking first or second dose, we just need some time to plan the schedule for the rest of the month.
For walk-in's we have a modified schedule this coming week, you can walk-in for Moderna at the Centre Square Mall:
- 11am to 3pm on Friday May 7
- 11 am to 3pm on Friday March 14
Other communities:
In Hay River, Fort Smith, and Inuvik you can call your public health units for an appointment. In all other communities you must call your health centre and ask them to put your name on the list for future vaccine opportunities. This is important; we need to know how much vaccine to bring to communities to provide clinics and if you want to get protected by receiving the Moderna vaccine (18+) call your health centre.
