Thichan Tran is a Mental Health and Addictions Counsellor dedicated to serving her community in Délı̨nę and the Sahtu region, she has had the honour and privilege to work alongside amazing colleagues and community members for several years in a variety of roles. Her current experiences as a Mental Health and Addictions Counsellor are built on the foundation of cultural humility, collaboration, curiosity, empathy, perspective, and trust.

Thichan, a native of Cambodia, was an undergraduate degree from York University. She attended graduate school at University of Toronto, receiving Master of Social Work.
Thichan’s favourite coping skill is fishing (during all seasons) for trout on Great Bear Lake. Great Bear Lake, translating to “grizzly bear water people” is known for its stunning natural beauty with clear waters surrounded by an abundance of mountains and boreal forest. Thichan continues to being committed to support healing and reconciliation together.
