(Yellowknife - April 6, 2022) The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) is advising residents that there is a current outbreak of COVID-19 at Stanton Territorial Hospital.
(Yellowknife, April 1, 2022) – As of April 1st, the Public Health Emergency in the Northwest Territories has been rescinded. This does not mean COVID is over, or that the harms of COVID will disappear.

(Aklavik, March 18, 2022) – Due to staffing capacity, the Aklavik health centre will be operating on emergency service only, on March 18th, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Complex Needs staff at the Stanton Medical Centre have been supporting the COVID-19 pandemic by collaborating with immunization nurses to hold low stimulation vaccination clinics for kids.
