April 26, 2021 - The attached letter, which has been sent to contacts in the most recent public health investigation, is being made public for ease of access and information sharing regarding the most recent cluster of COVID-19 cases in Yellowknife.
YELLOWKNIFE (April 1, 2021) –Today the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority announced plans to close the Aspen isolation centre and transition to hotel-based isolation centres in Yellowknife. There are no individuals currently in residence at Aspen.

Thanks to a great response from residents, we have fully booked all available COVID-19 vaccine appointments between January 26-30 for the expanded priority group in Yellowknife. We are closely monitoring our vaccine supply and may open more appointments if doses become available.
NTHSSA has established a closed overflow vaccination clinic site for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Please note that the clinic is not open to the general public.
