Rehabilitation services are healthcare services that help a person to regain physical, mental or cognitive abilities that have been lost or impaired. Our rehabilitation services allow people with disabilities to work with our teams of health professionals in order to achieve their goals and improve their functional independence. Patients can now self-refer to all rehabilitation services, which means you can sign yourself up without needing a referral from a doctor or nurse practitioner. Learn more about each of these services by clicking through the sidebar on this page.
Our Rehabilitation Services are offered across the NWT. If you are located in a smaller community you may have to be seen by a visiting therapist, or travel to a larger centre for service. Talk to your local health centre for more information.
