YELLOWKNIFE (April 1, 2021) –Today the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority announced plans to close the Aspen isolation centre and transition to hotel-based isolation centres in Yellowknife. There are no individuals currently in residence at Aspen.

Thanks to a great response from residents, we have fully booked all available COVID-19 vaccine appointments between January 26-30 for the expanded priority group in Yellowknife. We are closely monitoring our vaccine supply and may open more appointments if doses become available.
NTHSSA has established a closed overflow vaccination clinic site for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Please note that the clinic is not open to the general public.
