YELLOWKNIFE (October 17, 2025) – The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) would like to remind Yellowknife residents of the various flu vaccination clinics taking place across the city starting next week, being hosted by Yellowknife Public Health. COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available at all clinics upon request.

YELLOWKNIFE (September 25, 2025) – September marks the launch of a human papilloma virus (HPV) self-sampling mail-out pilot project delivered by the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.

Effective today, Monday, September 22nd, the following temporary service reductions will be implemented:

After successful piloting, effective immediately, diagnostic images, such as CT scans, Ultrasounds, and X-rays, can now be shared instantly from the NTHSSA to AHS physicians through a secure QR code system.
